Product Description
The low profile foam substrate offers optimum pliability so that the electrodes could conform to the patient’s body. The radiotransparent conductive material makes the electrode invisible under x-ray, while distributing current evenly across the entire electrode surface.
The combination of the acrylic adhesive foam substrate (around the perimeter) and the conductive adhesive gel offers, 1. electrode repositioning, 2. excellent adherence to hairy or diaphoretic patients, 3. maximum patient to pad contact for even energy distribution across the entire electrode surface, and 4. elimination of possible “tenting” (the center of the electrode lifts away from the patient’s skin). “Tenting” could cause spark gaps and burns.
- Electrode size: 6.0” x 4.25” (15.2cm x 10.8cm)
- Designed with 42” leadwires, PadPro electrodes allow clinicians more room to function. In addition, the leadwires are carbon-based, which leaves only a slight shadow under x-ray or fluoroscopy.
- Shelf life (sealed package) = 24 months from date of manufacture
- Compatible with monophasic and biphasic defibrillators
- Electrodes are latex-free
- Product is offered with a durable Anderson connector that offers standardization throughout the facility. Contact a ConMed Corporation representative to discuss the specific PadPro® adapters and/or PadPro® cables available for your defibrillation equipment.
